Colin Sokolowski is a professional writer; however, his proudest literary accomplishment was when a major market newspaper chose his letter to the editor defending Van Halen’s Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction as its “Letter of the Day.” Colin and his wife live in suburban St. Paul, Minnesota, where he gives their three children rides on “Purple Rain,” his beloved 1986 scooter.
